The world is deeply saddened by the new coronavirus.
What all of us at the Kadoma International Film Festival can do at the moment is to prepare for the festival in August in Osaka, and hope for the best.
It could be a limited edition, or online, perhaps.
Still, we believe in the day we can gather together again and are preparing for it.
Our Judging Committee is now rigorously, as usual, going through nearly 1000 films submitted from 44 countries and regions around the world.
Even if the event becomes limited or online, your honor of being selected in the festival is guaranteed.
That’s what we can do with your submitted films.

私達、門真国際映画祭ができることは、8月の大阪で開催できることを目指して準備をすることです。
もしかすると、Webなどを利用した限定的な開催になるかもしれません。
それでも私達は明るい未来を信じて準備をしています。
今、門真国際映画祭の審査委員会は、全世界44の国と地域から応募のあった約1000作品の審査を、例年通りに厳格に行っています。
開催が限定的なものになろうと、入選することの名誉は守られています。
